The Community Clothes Closet, located in Menasha, Wisconsin, is a grassroots non-profit organization that operates on an annual budget of only $167,000. We can do this because of our 140 dedicated volunteers who give of their time and talents.

The need for our services has increased 233% in the last five years. With the increase in clients and in donated new and used clothing, our building is being used to the maximum capacity!

What you need to bring

In order to receive clothing and home furnishings, you need to be a residence of Penitas, Texas. When you visit our clothing bank, it is important to bring the following:

    * Identification for all family members

    * Proof of residency - bring any bills showing your current address

 Clothing and Home Furnishing are received from many different sources: RV parks, consignment stores, mailings, and individuals who collect a car or trailer load and bring it out to us. Over the years Churches, Parks and individuals who have grown familiar with our work, have spread the word and we are blessed with much needed items used and new ranging from children's and baby clothes, blankets, school supplies, yarn and even building supplies. There are some ladies in the Parks who crochet and knit for our families. They make hats, sweaters, booties and afghans.

Since 1911, the Mission has existed to meet physical needs to bring those with spiritual needs to Jesus Christ.  Our ministries reach out to men, women, and children in the capital area, and we provide food, shelter, and clothing to those who are homeless or low income.

Thomas and Emily Dolton founded the Mission as a faith ministry, and we continue to rely solely on the gifts of compassionate individuals, churches, and organizations.

Annually, more than 3,000 children and their families depend on the Renton Clothes Bank.

And we depend on volunteers, financial support, and clothing donations from people like you.

In these times it is great that free clothes banks exist for people during these hard times. They really help out the children from families in need for clothes to begin school with in August. Plus they have other information about their programs and how to donate,etc.

Free Clothing Giveaway-Clinton County,St. Johns, MI

They give away clothes free of charge to people in need. They don't take in much and are non profit. By not having to buy new clothes it helps the families with their income they say.

"Community Closet"
UJA’s Community Closet is hosted by FSW and is located on the lower level of FSW’s Clinton Ave. building. The Community Closet offers free clothes and small household goods to those in need who have a social service agency referral. Open M-Th: 9am-2pm.
 
LANGUAGES (OTHER THAN ENGLISH):  Spanish
 
SITE HOURS:  M,Th,F: 8am-5pm; T-W: 8am-9pm
 
ELIGIBILITY:  Need social service agency referral; Clients can use the Closet once a month
 
FEE:  No fee
 
APPLICATION:  NO self referrals; Social service agency must contact FSW for the person in need
 
AGENCY DESCRIPTION:  Family service agency offers help for those facing HIV-positive status, domestic violence, illiteracy, and hearing impairment. FSW assists those experiencing psychiatric problems, or coping with traumatic loss, parenting struggles, stress or anxiety. FSW also offers youth development and job training programs. FSW's subsidiary, Family Assets LLC, helps residents improve their financial literacy and save for college, a new home or to start a business.

Kent County Michigan ~ Help for those in need

If you live in Northern Kent County, Michigan, this may be a link for you.

Shop here at North Kent Service Center, where everything is FREE.   Used items such as clothing for all ages, all sorts of household items, including furniture (when available), and help with food and some financial assistance. 

To qualify you must live within the boundries of North Kent County - North of 6 Mile rd., South of 22 mile rd., East of Kenowa Ave., West of Montcalm Ave... Demonstrate a financial need plus meet the federal poverty guidelines, or be in a temporary crisis situation - such as unemployed or the victim of a natural disaster (fire, flood, etc.).
